Meet Doctor Becker

We are all unique and when orthopedic problems interfere with your passions, you need specific answers to get back to the activities you enjoy most.  I have practiced Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic as a Staff physician and Instructor and have taught as a professor at the University of Minnesota.  While the care rendered at these facilities is excellent, there is a disconnect between the medical staff and patients.  This happens because the same orthopedic problem is different in each patient since we all have very individual experiences and needs.  At Becker Orthopedics we take your care one step further and in addition to providing excellent orthopedic treatment, we offer a caring and personalized approach to the musculoskeletal condition that is preventing you from doing what you love most.  On each visit to Becker Orthopedics, you will see the same physician, nurse practitioner, physical therapists and professional staff you have come to know and trust.

 

It is important to understand each patient’s goals in order to achieve the best possible outcome for that individual.   Over the years, I have developed and advanced several orthopedic procedures and techniques.  I have treated and continue to treat elite professional athletes in football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, roller derby, soccer, and horse racing.  While they have unique needs regarding getting back to their specific sport, everyone who experiences an injury or accident wants the same result; which is to be able to do what they did before the accident or injury.  At Becker Orthopedics, I provide a personalized and customized treatment for every person who comes through the door to see me.  I tailor the latest operative and non-operative techniques to get everyone back to the activity that they desire.  

 

I have been treating orthopaedic problems for patients from Southwest Florida including Naples and Ft. Myers (Fort Myers) and all over the USA for over 20 years and have maintained a residence in Bonita Springs for over 14 years.  Our practice is not owned by a hospital nor are we employees of any other entity. The care that we provide is based on your needs…not theirs.  We are one of the only remaining independent solo practitioner clinics remaining and we have been so successful because we continue to deliver the best and most personalized care no matter what direction health care is headed.  At Becker Orthopedics, we have a very specialized and experienced staff in many disciplines and I’m sure you will agree after coming to our office, that you received the best care available…. anywhere.
